Privacy Notice
Kairoi Co. OÜ is the controller for the processing described here. This notice covers cargobalance.kairoico.com and the CargoBalance service behind it.
1. This site has no upload
Nothing you do on these pages sends us a file. There is no form, no account, no database, and nothing is stored in your browser.
The pages here describe what we do; they do not do it. Every button on the site is a link, and the ones that look like a contact form open your own mail app with a template already written — the message is yours until you press send, and you can delete anything in it first. Work begins when you write to us, not when you read this.
2. Don't send us personal data
The paperwork we ask for is about freight: lanes, boxes, dimensions, capacities, commitments, bookings and invoices. It does not need anyone's name, address, contact details, or any other personal data, and we ask you not to put such data in what you send. Where a document names a party, a company name is what we expect. If a customer name or a driver's name is already sitting in an export, take it out before you send it — we would rather not receive it than hold it.
3. What the web server log records
Like any site on the open internet, ours records that a request happened. For each request one line is written containing the time, the IP address it came from, which page was asked for, the HTTP status, and how long it took. That line is written by the web server, not by the page.
We use those lines to run the site: to size capacity and to investigate abuse and faults. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the site. They are kept for as long as we need them for those purposes, and they are not sold, rented, or shared for advertising.
4. No cookies, no tracking
The site sets no cookies and asks for no consent, because there is nothing to consent to. It stores nothing in your browser, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from a third party — every file these pages ask for comes from this site, and there is no advertising and no profiling of any kind.
5. Certificates you are given
A certificate is a document you hold. Everything needed to check it is on the document itself, so checking one needs nothing from us — no account, no key, and no request to this site.
6. What we hold, and where we are
Kairoi Co. OÜ is established in Estonia, registry code 17410529, and is the controller for everything described here.
When you write to us, your message and anything attached to it is an email in our mailbox. It is read by people, not by a service: there is no CRM, no lead database and no profile built from it, because there is none to build it in. If you would like an exchange deleted, ask, and we will delete it.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for access to personal data we hold about you and for its correction or erasure, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and complain to a supervisory authority — in Estonia, the Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon). In practice we hold very little: an email you sent us, if you sent one, and the server log lines described in §3. Write to us and say roughly when you visited or wrote so we can find the relevant lines.
